These portraits are captured against a white studio backdrop with a streamlined lighting setup and finished using a unified color grade. Because the subject is framed at full length, images are lightly enhanced rather than individually retouched at the same detail level as headshots.

In-studio full-length portraits are designed to show scale, posture, and presence—the elements that can’t always be communicated in a traditional headshot.

If you book Hair + Makeup as an add on, we ask that you arrive 30 minutes (men and kids) to 1 hour (women) before your scheduled time slot, so keep that in mind when selecting your time.

How Full-Length Portraits Differ From Headshots

While both services are studio-based, acting headshots and full-length portraits serve different purposes.

Headshots are framed tightly and receive detailed, image-by-image retouching, focusing on skin tone, expression, and facial nuance. They function as your primary marketing image and carry a higher level of post-production refinement.

Full-length portraits, by contrast, are captured from a greater distance and finished with light, global enhancement rather than individual retouching. The emphasis is on overall appearance, proportion, and energy, making them best used as a supplement to a professional headshot, not a replacement.

For most clients, the strongest presentation includes both – headshots to introduce you, and full-length portraits to complete the picture.

    During your session, you’ll be able to view your images in real time and make your selections as we go. While our backdrop and lighting stay consistent, we’ll fine-tune posing, wardrobe, and hair placement to get the best possible results.

    Your final selects will be enhanced with light, global editing and delivered via email within one week.
